About the Role
Cleaning technicians have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:
Observing safety procedures when using equipment such as ladders, scaffolding, or power tools to avoid accidents
Cleaning floors with mops, brooms, or vacuum cleaners
Cleaning windows, walls, and doors using various cleaning agents
Cleaning surfaces such as hardwood floors, tile floors, carpeting, countertops, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers
Cleaning furniture using dust cloths or brushes, as well as vacuum cleaners or shampooers
Cleaning floors using scrubbing machines with rotating brushes and detergent solutions
Cleaning surfaces using spray bottles of cleaning agents on large surfaces such as walls or ceilings
Washing walls with a sponge and mild detergent solution or by using a high-pressure sprayer to remove stains and spots
Cleaning walls, ceilings, floors, windows, doors, and other surfaces using cleaning agents and equipment such as vacuum cleaners and scrubbing machines

Requirements
Proven working experience as a Janitor
Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
